Windows:
- Click the Windows Key + R at the same time.
- In the Run box, type "cmd," OK.
- At the DOS prompt, type "ipconfig," hit enter.
- Look for the IPv4 address. Usually 192.168.1.X.
- Report this number and the IPv4 Gateway number to OnePointSync.
To ping your router:
- After finding out your Gateway, type "ping <gateway>," replace gateway with the Gateway from step 5 above, hit enter.
- You will get one of two responses.
- Either "reply from" or "request timed out."
- Report these findings to OnePointSync.
To ping the Internet:
- Type "ping 8.8.8.8”, hit enter.
- You will get one of two responses.
- Either "reply from" or "request timed out."
- Report these findings to OnePointSync.
