Why am I getting so many email bounce backs?

Created by Nicholas Hoague, Modified on Fri, Jul 24 at 4:57 PM by Nicholas Hoague

Spammers almost always use different email addresses as their "reply-to" when sending spams. They do this so they can send millions of emails and bounces go somewhere else, rather than to their mailbox, or whatever email address they are using to send.

You'll see usually 50-100 bounce backs in your mailbox when this happens. Unfortunately, there isn't much OnePointSync can do about this. The IP addresses they send from are often bounced around, and usually originate / terminate in an entire different country.

You can always check your sent items in your Outlook though to be sure these emails didnt come out of your account.
