How do I setup Hikvision App?

Download the app for your mobile device.

• Navigate to your downloads folder, find the Apps, find Downloads.
• Double click on the file to install!
  • Some versions of Android require additional settings:
    • Open Settings.
    • Navigate to Apps.
    • Find Special App Access.
    • Locate "Install Unknown Apps"
    • Choose the Source App. You'll see a list of apps. Choose the app through which you plan to install the APK file, chrome, files, or gmail.
    • Enable Installation.
    • Re try to open the APK file from your downloads that you just downloaded.

Setup the app:

1. Open the Hikvision app.
2. Click the gear icon, top right.
3. Choose Add Device Manually.
4. Adding Type: IP/Domain
5. Click Alias, enter the Alias from above pre-req.
6. Click Address, enter the address from above pre-req.
7. Click Port, enter the address from above pre-req. 
8. Click User Name, enter the address from above pre-req. 
9. Click Password, enter the address from above pre-req.
10. Click the disk icon top right to save. 
11. It should say "Added" if all is correct.
12. Click back, top left.

Now you can click on the NVR icon and view the cameras on that NVR!
